The school colours are red, white and grey. We believe that the school uniform helps children to feel that they 'belong' and encourages a sense of pride in 'their' school. From a security aspect, uniform makes children much more easily noticeable when they are out of school. Our school uniform is as follows:
Boys UniformIn Winter:
White or red shirt,
grey trousers,
grey, red or white socks and grey or red cardigan, jumper or sweatshirt. In Summer: Plain colour or white shirt or polo shirt (below),
grey shorts and
grey, red or white socks. The wearing of sensible shoes or smart trainers (black or brown in winter) is encouraged.
Boys PE KitPE kit should be in school every day.
Black shorts, red T-Shirt and
pumps are to be kept in a named bag on the child's coat peg. Gymnastics and dance should be done indoors in bare feet. Outdoor Games:
Track-suit/sweater and suitable footwear. Junior Children will also need
spare socks, football/hockey boots and trainers. For Health & Safety reasons children must not do PE if they are not suitably attired. Correct footwear is particularly important. Children receive swimming lessons in the school pool during the summer term. For this they require a
swimming costume, towel and hat to be kept in a named waterproof bag. Earrings must be removed, or taped over, before a child swims.
Girls UniformIn Winter:
White or red blouse,
grey skirt, grey trousers or pinafore dress (any style),
grey, red or white tights or socks, grey or red cardigan, jumper or sweatshirt. In Summer:
Red and white dress, plain colour or white shirt/polo shirt,
grey, red or white socks. In summer: Light trainers are preferable to sandals, which sometimes restrict free movement and play.

It is essential that every item of clothing and equipment (bags, lunchboxes, pens etc.) is clearly
labelled. We cannot spend valuable teaching time on lengthy searches for unmarked possessions.
Sunhats, fleeces, waterproof jackets, bookbags etc. are also available with the school logo. Plimsoles with Velcro fastening, painting aprons and swimming goggles as well as other general items can be found in the
General Schoolwear section. Thanks.
