Principles
Our school uniform has proved very popular and children are encouraged to wear it to feel part of our school community. We also believe it is important that certain activities are facilitated by specialised and appropriate clothing when attending school, or when participating in a school organised event outside of school. We provide details of the items children may wish to wear and further information is given in our school prospectus.
Aims
Our policy for children’s school uniform is based on the belief that a school uniform:
- Promotes a sense of pride in the school
- Engenders a feeling of community and belonging
- Is practical and smart
- Identifies the children with the school
- Makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance
- Is regarded as suitable, and good value for money, by most parents
- Has been designed with health and safety in mind
Our colours are royal blue and white and the uniform is as follows:
- Royal Blue school sweatshirt, cardigan or jumper
- White or royal blue polo shirt
- Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore
- Grey or white socks or tights
- Black or grey shoes. Trainers with long laces, shoes or sandals with high heals are not suitable for school.
Uniform fleeces/waterproof jackets are available all the year round.
For PE
all children need
- A t-shirt or Vest.
- Shorts
- Plimsolls
Vests with the school logo on can be purchased from school.
For Health and Safety reasons shorts and T-shirts should be close fitting and not loose and baggy.

with your child’s name
