Uniform Policy
Every child is expected to wear school uniform every day. School uniform can be purchased from the school and from this website and is displayed in the Infant building. Blue is the school’s colour. We would request that children do not wear makeup or use hair gel at school. Children should wear suitable shoes with heels no bigger than 1” and these should be full shoe and not sandals.
For P.E.
Indoor kit for dance and gymnastics should consist of a change of T-shirt (a change of t-shirt not one that has been worn in class) and indoor pumps. It is important that children wear shorts especially when apparatus is being used.
Outdoor kit for games should consist of a change of T-shirt, jogging bottoms, a warm top and outdoor trainers.
For athletics – shorts ot tracksuit top and bottom (depending on weather conditions) plus outdoor trainers. There should be no official football shirt/kits please. All kits should be clearly labelled with the child’s name and kept in a drawstring bag.
Pleas label all clothing including coats and wellingtons.
Sunsmart Sun Protection
The sun’s rays are particularly strong over the summer and they can damage children’s skin. This may not seem like a problem right now, but sadly it can lead to skin cancer in later life. Your child’s health and well-being are very important to us, which is why we have decided to:

Increase the amount of school time spent learning about sun protection

Provide shaded areas in the play areas

Encourage pupipls to wear hats, t-shirt and sunglasses when outside

Encourage pupils to wear sunscreen
